Software. Sound. A few good ideas.

01 / The technology

Make something useful.

Decades of building software, with a lasting interest in the people who use it.

MSA Life Sciences

Better tools.
Meaningful work.

My work at MSA brings software engineering and product development into life sciences. EDITLife is part of that story: tools for the complex work of transplant centers and blood product workflows.

MSA acquired my very first startup back in the 1990s. I’m still there today—and I still look forward to Mondays!

02 / The independent spirit

A little SodaPop.

Different outlets for the same urge: take an idea and make it real.

SodaPop Records

We help musicians earn.

An independent label built around the people who make the music. SodaPop Records connects recording, releases, and creative collaboration—with a belief that musicians’ contributions deserve to count.

SodaPop Sound

Bring the room to life.

PA and lighting are another part of the SodaPop world: the practical craft of helping live music look and sound the way it should.

03 / The music

There’s always a song.

Keys, bass, guitars, late nights in the studio—and the next reason to turn it up.

Dead Air Saints

Different Worlds.
Same Signal.

Blow — Dead Air Saints single cover▶ Listen on Spotify ↗

A cinematic musical world shared with Joni Vayda, John Owen, and David Floyd McKee. I bring bass, keys, and a producer’s ear to a band that makes room for different sounds and a strong visual identity.

SodaPop House

Welcome to
SodaPop House.

Home, studio, live room, and workshop. SodaPop House is where the projects meet: recording sessions, rehearsals, production ideas, and the work of turning a possibility into something you can hear and see.

It’s my creative home base in Gibsonia, just outside Pittsburgh. There’s almost always something really cool in progress here...

The most important member of SodaPop House

And this is Tucker’s world.

My tricolor Sheltie, walking companion, and reliable reminder to leave the screen behind. Between the software, the songs, and the next big idea, there’s always time for a walk with Tucker.

A proud dad sharing a happy moment with his two daughters

The best part of my world

Proud dad.
First and always.

I wear a lot of hats. Being Dad is the one I’m proudest of. These two make my world brighter—and give me more to be proud of than I could ever fit on a page.

Thanks for stopping by

Good work.
Good music.
Good company.
